loyalty

finally a positive post! =Dtoday, during civics, at room AR02, my civics teacher, mdm koh, taught us a lesson on loyalty. she covered many topics, like parental loyalty (filial piety), loyalty to nation (patriotism), loyalty to a football club (passion), loyalty to God (faith) look at miaochen's blog =D, loyalty to friends, loyalty to your loved ones, and etc. she highlighted the things Lim Bo Seng did, to defend his loyalties. and Mr S Rajaratnam who held friendship in high regards. anws, i wasn't really thinking much abt that, until mdm koh asked me how i felt, then i started saying abt my neighbour who had a dog, then whenever i went home, the dog will bark at me. it's like that dog is loyal to his owner, my neighbour, and regards his home as his land to defend, and im like the oppressor. so i concluded that we should be like dogs. or, the govt believes that we shld be like dogs. (that was some crap explanation) and then, i went into further thought. and just then, siewping said sth like love and loyalty. then that struck me. Loyalty is like the main set, while patriotism, filial piety, faith, passion, are all forms of loyalty. anws, thats not my point. then what i felt was so heartening is that my blog, which was underfire by some anon taggers, was defended by my friends in my class. im really really glad. it's like, so nice and 'loyal' of them to defend my views. thank you all! btw, alex isn't out 07a01's alex, he's arex the thaiger. sci stream one. =D yeah, so once more, THANKS! =DDDD im really not being sarcastic. |
